The Answers You Need

I know a lot of questions can arise when having a personalized photo session so here are some commonly asked questions.

How do I book a session or what if I have additional questions?

Booking a session or asking questions is easy! You can fill out the "Get in Touch" form, call, email, or even text me.

What's involved in the booking process?

If you are interested in booking a session, we will have a free consultation to discuss and explore your session needs. We will discuss locations, attire, and the type of session you are interested in.

What should I/We wear?

Wear what makes you the most comfortable and what represents you the best! However, I would not recommend clothing with wild patterns, writings, characters etc. For family/group sessions coordinating clothing is always best.  It doesn't have to match precisely but should be the same color scheme. Mommies to be; the more belly the better! A long flowing dress is perfect as well.

How long is my session?

The session time depends solely on the portrait package you choose and can range anywhere from 30 minutes to 2 hours.  Mini sessions are 15-30 minutes long.

How do I pay for my session?

To book a session and secure your date and time a non-refundable retainer is due at the time of booking.  This fee is also applied to your total session fee.  An invoice will be sent to have the retainer fee paid online.  The remaining session fee is due the day of your session.  Cash is a preferred method but an invoice can be sent prior to the session to be paid online via credit/debit card.

What if I'm late or need to reschedule my session?

We know things happen in life that are out of our control.  In the event you need to reschedule your session, please contact me as soon as possible. A one-time reschedule is allowed per session, after that, a new retainer is required. I do allow a grace period of 15 minutes for being tardy.  If you are more than 15 minutes late for your session a $10 fee will be charged to your balance. If you are more than 30 minutes late, your session may be cancelled.

Can I bring a special item with me to my session?

Bringing special items are encouraged! This can be a favorite toy for your child or even special item for your senior. We love props and will try our best to incorporate it into your photo's.

Can I bring a friend or family member to my session?

Yes! Especially if it will make you feel more comfortable.  However, we do ask that no other photography is taking place during the session and no outside direction. This includes cell phone photography.

When and how will I receive my photos?

Your photos are sent to your very own password protected gallery via email. You can also access your page by clicking the "Your Print" button at the top of the site. In regards to how may photos, this depends on the package you choose and amount of images requested. Normal turn around time is 2 weeks for digital images to be sent to your gallery.  Print order times will be longer as you will choose what you'd like to print after receiving your gallery.  Rush edit/delivery is available for an additional fee.

How do I print my images?

Printing your images is a breeze! From your online gallery you will have the option to print, download and share your images.  You can create canvases, metal prints and more! I do not recommend using commercial drug store printers (Walgreens/Walmart etc.) as the quality is not the best and I can't guarantee their prints.

Do you provide hair and makeup?

I personally do not but I can definitely recommend some awesome MUA and hair stylists!

How many images will I receive?

This is solely dependent on the package you choose.  Additional digital images are available for an additional fee.

Do you provide the unedited/raw images?

Unfortunately, we do not offer the unedited/raw images. Your gallery will include photos that I have chosen to be the best of the best because that is what you hired me for. If you are interested in purchasing additional images, an unedited gallery can be sent to you to review but will include a watermark. Additional images can be edited and sent for an additional fee.

What happens after my session, do I need to do anything?

Not at all; you are all set! Just sit back and relax and I'll get your completed work of art to you as quickly as possible!
